Describe your ideal day
My ideal day is wake up to the sound of the birds or ocean waves, meditate and workout, bake some chocolate chip cookies with my son and spend rest of the day soaking up the sun, building sandcastles, going for a swim on the beach with the family.
What's your favorite book and why?
There are so many that come to mind but if I were to pick one, it would be ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho. This was one of the books I read in my childhood that left an impression. I love the message of the book around pursuing your dreams by following your heart’s true desires and how the universe will conspire in helping you to achieve it. It is also about the journey and failure and learning are as much a part of it as are the successes.
If you could time-travel back to a single point in history, where would you go and why?
If I could time travel and go back in time, I will choose to go back to 4th-6th century CE to Gupta Empire in India which is known as the Golden Age of India. This was an era of prosperity, growth as well as tremendous advancements and inventions in field of mathematics, art, Astronomy, science, religion, and philosophy. The concept of ‘zero’ was introduced during this time by Arybhata, famous astronomer and mathematician. I would love to witness all of this in person and also have contributed to this important phase in history.

If you could be any animal other than human for a day, what would you be and why?
I would be an eagle and spend my day spreading my wings, soaring high in the sky. I picked eagle because I admire their majestic presence but also because eagles have a vision , they are fearless and tenacious. They represent vitality and are also very nurturing towards their young ones. These are some of the things that I admire and can relate to myself when I think of eagles.
