Describe yourself in five or fewer words

Moderately acceptable in small doses.

Describe your ideal day.

A hearty breakfast, shortly followed by second breakfast, brunch, lunch, dunch (dinner/lunch), etc. In between, playing with kiddo and making purdy pictures.

What's your favorite book and why?

Oof, impossible question. Here’s a random assortment of faves: Dune, Jitterbug Perfume, Neurotribes, Seed to Harvest, Childhood’s End.

If you could time-travel back to a single point in history, where would you go and why?

Hmm, maybe 3/13/1881. I’d try and stop Sophia Perovskaya from assassinating Alexander II. Then again, I could inadvertently make history play out even worse. Ok, better play it safe and go back to that one summer in 1998, when I had the best sandwich ever at Koch’s deli in west Philly.

If you could be any animal other than human for a day, what would you be and why?

Kitsune, a nine-tailed fox. You can’t beat shapeshifting, wish-granting, and immortality.
