Describe your ideal day
Hanging out somewhere quiet with some good food and great coffee, reading books, and doing yoga with people I love.
What's your favorite book and why?
I Shall Wear Midnight, by Terry Pratchett. It's the story of a young woman coming into her power and being feared for it, set in a fantastical world of magic and treachery. Our protagonist prevails through love and humanity.
If you could time-travel back to a single point in history, where would you go and why?
I would refuse, but if I had to...I'd love to hide out in the churches where Bach played and hear him improvise. Perhaps that would be unethical though. He created that music for that sacred time and place, and though it's not my sacred space, and the music is lost to us, perhaps that's best.
If you could be any animal other than human for a day, what would you be and why?
A house cat. I dream of spending a day spoiled, held as long as I want to and no longer. Could I be amused by a feather for hours? I don't know, but I'm willing to try.
